Bower Care Home is a brand new, purpose built care home in Linlithgow, opening in Summer 2026. The home will provide residential, dementia, nursing and respite care within a modern, well designed environment, offering a unique opportunity to join a new team and help shape the service from the outset.

Contract: £12.98 per hour

Full Time

Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided

5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

Joining a brand new care home from the very beginning offers a genuinely exciting opportunity to help shape the salon environment and resident experience as the service develops. As part of the team from the outset, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional space where residents can relax, socialise and enjoy time focused on their own wellbeing and confidence. As Hairdresser, you will play an important role in enhancing residents' wellbeing, confidence and daily experience. This is a rewarding role where your work brings comfort, routine and a sense of normality, helping individuals look and feel their best. You will provide a range of hairdressing services including washing, cutting and styling, tailored to individual preferences. You will ensure the salon environment is clean, safe and welcoming, maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism at all times. Working closely with residents and the wider team, you will build positive relationships and deliver a service that supports dignity, confidence and personal wellbeing.
