Located in Lanark, South Lanarkshire, our beautiful care home provides Nursing & Dementia care for 45 residents.

Trainee Care Assistant Contract

  • £13.60 per hour
  • Contracted to up to 44 hours per week
  • Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

Role Overview

As a Trainee Care Assistant, you will begin a rewarding career supporting individuals with their daily lives while learning how to deliver high quality, person centred care. No previous experience is required, as full training and ongoing support will be provided. Working alongside experienced team members, you will assist with daily routines including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional support. You will learn how to follow care plans, recognise changes in wellbeing and provide care that promotes dignity, independence and comfort. This role offers a supportive and structured learning environment, helping you build confidence, develop new skills and progress within the care sector. It is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, reliable and motivated to make a meaningful difference.
