At Woodlands Care Home in the leafy Craigiebuckler area of Aberdeen, we know that a clean, calm and beautifully kept environment can lift the spirits, ease the mind, and make a house feel like home.
We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-focused Housekeeper to join our warm and welcoming team. If you take pride in your work, love a good checklist, and want to make a real difference in people’s lives, this could be the perfect role for you.

Your ImpactAs a Housekeeper at Woodlands, you won’t just be tidying rooms you’ll be creating safe, spotless spaces where our residents can feel relaxed, comfortable, and cared for. Every polish, sweep and wipe helps to preserve dignity and promote wellbeing.
You’ll work closely with our wider care and hospitality team to ensure our home is always looking its best and feeling its best too.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges and communal areas
- Ensure all cleaning products are used safely and in line with guidelines
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules
- Respect residents’ privacy and dignity at all times
- Help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for residents, visitors and colleagues
- Follow all infection prevention, health & safety and control measures
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (care setting experience is a bonus but not essential)
- A good eye for detail and high personal standards
- Someone who takes pride in their work and works well independently
- A kind, respectful and discreet approach
