Our residential home is located in the beautiful High Peak, providing high quality Residential, Respite and Dementia care for 36 residents.

£12.71 per hour Contracted to 30 hours per week – 6 month contract Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Maintenance Assistant you will play a key role in ensuring the home remains safe, well maintained and comfortable at all times. This is a hands‑on and varied role where your practical skills and attention to detail will have a direct impact on the environment and the daily experience. You will carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks across the building and grounds, including repairs, basic electrical checks, installations and general upkeep. You will ensure equipment and systems are working safely and efficiently, respond promptly to issues and support planned maintenance. Working independently and alongside the wider team, you will follow health and safety procedures, support compliance checks and help maintain a well‑organised, safe and welcoming environment.
