Overview
La Fontana Dementia Nursing Home is a purpose-built, innovative care home in Martock, Somerset. We provide specialist Dementia and Nursing care for up to 76 residents, and we’re looking for a proactive, inspiring Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our residents.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and inspire the housekeeping team, setting high standards and fostering a positive, motivated culture.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff, helping them develop skills and achieve their potential.
- Plan and delegate daily cleaning, laundry, and housekeeping operations efficiently.
- Ensure quality and consistency, inspecting rooms and communal areas regularly.
- Manage budgets and supplies, keeping operations cost-effective while maintaining excellence.
- Collaborate across departments, ensuring seamless communication and problem-solving.
- Promote safety and sanitation, ensuring a secure, hygienic environment for residents and staff.
- Resolve concerns professionally, responding promptly to resident or staff feedback.
