At Woodlands Care Home, set in the peaceful Craigiebuckler area of Aberdeen, we believe the little things make the biggest difference. That’s why we’re looking for a talented and compassionate Hairdresser to join our team. You’ll help our residents feel pampered, polished, and most importantly, like themselves. As Hairdresser, you’ll work with residents from all walks of life offering haircuts, blow-dries, washes, and a whole lot of joy. This isn’t just a job about scissors and sprays. What You\’ll Do : Deliver professional hairdressing services tailored to individual preferences Offer warmth, patience and friendly conversation during each appointment Keep your salon space clean, safe, and welcoming Use and maintain salon equipment safely and effectively Follow health & safety procedures and attend regular training Respect the privacy and dignity of every resident you meet What We’re Looking For: Qualified and experienced in hairdressing, ideally in a care or customer-focused setting A great communicator who brings calm, confidence and kindness Passionate about people and making others feel special Comfortable working independently, with excellent attention to detail A positive presence who brings cheer to every appointment About us: You’ll be joining a values-led care home that’s part of the Care Concern Group, a family-owned provider with over 100 care homes across the UK.
