Our purpose-built, luxury 67-bed care facility is located in the charming town of Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire. We are proud to provide a range of services which includes Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite & Palliative Care.
At Mearns View Care Home, you'll work a consistent day shift pattern with no late evenings, no split shifts, and no night working, giving you more time for family, hobbies and life outside of work.
Contract:
- £13.50 per hour
- Fixed contract: 4 days per week (7:00am–5:30pm)
- No evening shifts or split shifts
- Pension scheme
- Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time hours)
About the Role:
As our Cook, you'll play an important part in creating nutritious, high-quality meals that bring comfort, enjoyment and wellbeing to our residents every day. Using fresh ingredients, you'll prepare and serve balanced meals that cater to individual dietary requirements and personal preferences, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking and wants a role with a consistent routine, meaningful work and excellent work-life balance.
