Our purpose built, luxury 67-bed care facility is located in the charming town of Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire. We are proud to provide a range of services which includes Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite & Palliative Care.

Contract: £13.50 per hour

Contracted to 4 days per week (7am - 5.30pm) per week

Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided

5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

No late evenings or split shifts, offering a consistent working pattern and genuine work life balance, alongside ongoing training and development opportunities.

Role Overview

As Cook, you will play an important role in preparing and delivering high quality, nutritious meals that support wellbeing and enhance daily life. This is a rewarding position where your cooking brings comfort, routine and enjoyment to those you support. You will prepare and serve meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety are maintained at all times. Working with fresh ingredients, you will support menu planning and contribute to a varied and balanced dining experience. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. With no late evenings or split shifts, this role offers a consistent routine and strong work life balance while still allowing you to take pride in delivering quality food every day.
