The predicted salary is between 16.64 - 16.64 £ per hour.
Location: West and Central Fife (with travel to Perth, Dundee, Crieff and Livingston)
Base Home: Oakbank Care Home, Countess Gardens, Crieff, PH7 3DP

~40 hours per week (4 x 10 hour day shifts)
~ Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
~5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
As a Peripatetic Chef, you will support a number of care homes across the region, providing cover for annual leave and sickness while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety and kitchen organisation. You will adapt to different kitchens and teams, ensuring consistency and maintaining a reliable standard of service.
Your role will include supporting menu planning, stock control, ordering and ensuring compliance with food safety and health and safety standards. You will also provide guidance and support to kitchen teams, helping to maintain good practice and a consistent approach.
- Previous experience working as a Chef in a professional kitchen
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen processes
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- A flexible and reliable approach
- Full driving licence is essential
