Senior Care Assistant - Southend-on-Sea Cedars Care Home is a modern, purpose-built home in Southend-on-Sea offering residential, dementia, respite and palliative care for up to 48 residents. The home features bright ensuite rooms across three floors, welcoming communal spaces, and a compassionate team dedicated to providing care with dignity and respect. Senior Care Assistant Contract 14.88 per hour Contracted to 34.5 hours per week Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate. You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
