Henderson House Care Home is a well-established care home in the coastal town of Dalgety Bay in Fife, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 60 residents. The Opportunity: Henderson House Care Home is entering an exciting new chapter. This 60-bed nursing, residential and dementia service in Dunfermline is ready for a strong, visible leader to build on recent progress and lead the next phase of development. We're looking for a Home Manager who thrives on driving quality, supporting people, and shaping a positive culture - someone who can bring stability, clarity and momentum as the home moves forward.

About Henderson House Care Home: Our CI rating is 3,4,4,4,4, with occupancy at approximately 85% and average weekly fees of £1,119. The incoming Home Manager will lead the home's improvement plan, reinforce robust clinical governance, and continue embedding consistent, person-centred standards of care. You will be supported by an experienced regional team who have delivered successful improvement programmes across the Care Concern Group portfolio. Their commitment, teamwork and pride in the home have kept Henderson House thriving - with a waiting list, strong community reputation, and consistently positive feedback. Contract:

  • Up to £60,000 per annum (DOE)
  • Welcome Bonus of £5,000
  • Performance-related bonus opportunities (Up to 40% of salary per annum)

Proven success leading a care home through improvement or development:

  • Experience managing a service (40+ beds) with nursing and dementia provision.
  • Strong stakeholder and regulatory engagement skills.
  • Commercial awareness, with a track record of building occupancy and managing budgets.
  • Registered Nurse (NMC) desirable, but not essential for candidates with strong leadership and turnaround experience.
  • Local knowledge is beneficial but not essential — integrity, presence and authenticity matter most.
