Role Overview
No two shifts are the same in this role. Some days will be busy and fast paced, others more relaxed, but you will always be part of a team working together to support residents through their day. You will help with day to day routines such as personal care, mealtimes and getting involved in activities. It is a practical role where being organised, calm and willing to help makes a real difference to how the day runs. You will be based in one care home, matched to a location that works for you, so you can get to know the team and feel comfortable in your role. During the summer months, homes are especially active, creating a positive and social atmosphere for both residents and staff.
