Responsibilities
- Domestic Cleaning: Provide thorough cleaning services throughout the care home, adhering to company policies and best practices.
- Hygiene Practices: Implement all hygienic work practices to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Floor Care: Clean and protect various floor surfaces, including carpets and hard floors.
- Furniture and Fixtures: Maintain cleanliness of furniture, furnishings, fixtures, and fittings.
- Sanitary Maintenance: Clean and replenish sanitary fixtures and fittings to keep them hygienic.
- Waste Management: Remove refuse regularly and ensure proper disposal.
- Vertical Surfaces: Clean vertical surfaces safely without using access equipment.
- Resident Support: Assist with the daily well-being of residents, helping them adapt to their new environment.
- Laundry Services: Manage laundry efficiently, following guidance and ensuring personal belongings are safe and correctly labelled.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety protocols, infection prevention measures, and fire safety regulations within the laundry and care home.
- Safe Operating Systems: Ensure safe operating systems are in place and follow them meticulously.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other staff to ensure effective laundry services and overall cleanliness.
