Gowrie House Care Home is located in the heart of Kirkcaldy, a picturesque coastal town on the Forth Estuary in East Central Scotland. We provide exceptional Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 60 residents, creating a warm, supportive, and caring environment where our residents can feel truly at home.
We are now looking for a Domestic/Laundry Assistant to join our team. This is an important role where you will help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. Whether you are experienced in care or new to the sector, if you take pride in your work and have a keen eye for detail, you could be a perfect fit.
What We Offer

What You Will DoAs a Domestic Assistant, you will play a key role in keeping the home clean and welcoming for residents. You will carry out domestic cleaning tasks, maintain furniture and fixtures, clean and replenish sanitary areas, manage laundry safely, and ensure floors are hygienic and well cared for. You will also dispose of waste properly and adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
Your role contributes directly to the wellbeing and comfort of our residents, creating an environment where they can enjoy daily life safely and happily. You will work closely with colleagues across the home, supporting a friendly and positive atmosphere for residents and staff alike.
About YouWe are looking for someone with attention to detail, a proactive approach, and a positive, caring attitude. Previous experience is welcome but not essential β full training will be provided for those new to care.
