Based in Didcot, Oxfordshire, our newly-built care home offers exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care for 70 residents.

As Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment while also supporting laundry services. You will be responsible for cleaning residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Alongside this, you will support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing correctly, ensuring all items are clearly labelled and handled with care.

Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. Your role will contribute to a well-organised and comfortable environment where individuals feel respected and supported. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.

Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
