The predicted salary is between 12.71 - 12.71 Β£ per hour.

Thornfield Care Home is situated on the outskirts of the lovely seaside town of Seaton which is located on the world-famous Jurassic Coast. Thornfield Care Home is registered for 52 residents.

As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.

  • A creative, organised and enthusiastic approach
  • A genuine interest in supporting older people
  • Previous experience in activities or a similar role is beneficial, however candidates with transferable skills from roles such as hospitality, events, childcare or community work are encouraged to apply
