Activities Lead - Seaton Thornfield Care Home is situated on the outskirts of the lovely seaside town of Seaton which is located on the world-famous Jurassic Coast. Thornfield Care Home is registered for 52 residents. Activities Lead Contract ~13.71 per hour ~ Contracted to 40 hours per week ~ Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided ~5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) As Activities Lead, you will take responsibility for developing and delivering a high quality, engaging and person centred activities programme. You will plan and lead both group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs, including those living with dementia. Building strong relationships will enable you to deliver meaningful and inclusive activities that encourage participation and social interaction. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends. Previous experience in an Activities Coordinator or similar role is essential Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging activities and events Confident, creative and proactive approach Experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia Thornfield Care Home is part of Care Concern Group, a family owned, market leading care provider with a strong and growing presence across the United Kingdom.
