Highwood Care Home is a brand new, purpose-built facility nestled in the picturesque and historic port town of Bideford. Our luxury care home offers a warm and welcoming environment for up to 67 residents, providing Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care. As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands-on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.
- You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation.
- Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.
This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene is required. Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.
