Our care home, nestled in the picturesque town of Dartmouth in Devon, provides exceptional Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 79 residents, offering a serene and supportive environment where quality care meets coastal charm.

We're seeking a Clinical Unit Manager who is passionate about leadership, committed to providing exceptional care, and ready to make a significant impact. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Clinical Team: Ensure residents' medical, physical, and emotional needs are met by leading the clinical team with expertise and compassion.
  • Ensure Compliance: Always adhere to our clinical governance framework to maintain the highest standards of care.
  • Mentor and Motivate: Inspire and guide your colleagues, champion residents' safety and dignity, and drive continuous improvement in care delivery.
  • Outstanding Leadership: Provide exceptional leadership for all colleagues, fostering a supportive and effective working environment.
  • Resident Support: As a named Nurse, support residents with a range of complex needs and dependency levels, ensuring personalized and attentive care.
  • Strive for Clinical Excellence: Continuously work towards ensuring clinical excellence within the home, setting the standard for high-quality care.

What We're Looking For:

  • Nurse Qualified: You are a registered nurse with a valid PIN, ready to bring your expertise to our team.
  • Strong Clinical Skills: Your clinical knowledge is solid, and you're confident in applying it to deliver high-quality care.
  • Experience with the Elderly: While not essential, experience working with the elderly is an asset.
  • Leadership Experience: You've led and managed teams before, and you're skilled at bringing out the best in your colleagues.
  • Training and Support: You're ready to support and guide staff, helping them develop and thrive in their roles.
  • Leadership Potential: You're confident enough to step in for the Home Manager when needed, ensuring smooth operations.
