This is an exciting opportunity to join Care Concern Group at a pivotal stage, supporting the commissioning of a brand new 60 bed nursing care home in Linlithgow, due to open in summer 2026. We are seeking an experienced and clinically strong Deputy Manager who is passionate about high standards, quality, and person centred care.

As part of the commissioning leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping the culture, supporting registration, recruiting and developing the clinical team, and ensuring exceptional care standards are embedded from day one. This role is ideal for an ambitious nurse leader who thrives in a start up environment and wants to be involved in building a home that will set the standard for years to come.

What You Will Do

As Commissioning Clinical Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager in leading the clinical and operational delivery of the service during commissioning and beyond. You will oversee clinical practice and governance, ensuring safe, effective and high quality care is delivered in line with regulatory requirements. You will support the recruitment, induction and development of the nursing and care teams, leading by example and embedding best practice from the outset. You will work closely with residents, families, professionals and external stakeholders, ensuring strong communication and positive relationships. You will confidently deputise for the Home Manager when required and play an active role in driving quality, occupancy readiness and a positive team culture.

What We Are Looking For
  • RGN or RMN qualified with an active NMC PIN
  • Strong clinical background with excellent attention to detail and quality
  • Experience working with older people in a nursing or care home setting
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to support, mentor and develop staff
  • Confidence to deputise for the Home Manager when required
  • A values led approach with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding care
