Willowmere Care Centre is a specialist care home in Barnet, North London supporting adults with complex nursing needs, dementia and mental health conditions. The home offers 119 purpose designed bedrooms and delivers clinically led care within a structured, supportive environment focused on dignity, stability and wellbeing.

As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager in leading the clinical and care teams, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and high quality care within a specialist complex care environment. You will take responsibility for overseeing clinical practice across the home, supporting nurses and care staff to deliver person centred care in line with best practice and regulatory standards.

You will provide clinical leadership on shift, guiding decision making, supporting care planning and ensuring safe medication management and accurate documentation. You will play a key role in clinical governance, audits and quality assurance, helping to monitor standards, identify areas for improvement and implement best practice across the service. You will respond to changes in residents’ health, support escalation where required and work closely with external professionals to ensure positive outcomes.

As a senior leader within the home, you will support staff development, provide supervision and contribute to building a confident, capable and well supported clinical team. Your role will help ensure the home maintains a structured, safe and therapeutic environment for residents with complex needs.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN
  • Experience within complex nursing, dementia or mental health care
  • Previous leadership or senior nursing experience
  • Strong clinical knowledge and decision making ability
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
