Dee View Court Neurological Care Centre is a specialist neurological service in Aberdeen, providing expert neurorehabilitation and long‑term care for 44 residents with complex needs. The home offers a clinically led yet homely environment, where a skilled multidisciplinary team supports individuals with brain injuries and neurological conditions to maximise independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the kitchen team within a specialist complex care setting, assisting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs. You will assist with food preparation, maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure food safety procedures are followed at all times. Working as part of the team, you will help prepare meals that meet individual dietary needs, including modified or specialist diets where required. You will also support with deliveries, storage and kitchen organisation, ensuring all areas are clean, safe and well maintained. Working in a structured environment, you will contribute to the smooth day‑to‑day running of the kitchen while supporting a positive dining experience for residents.
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food preparation role is desirable but not essential
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and food safety practices
