Colinton Care Home is located in Edinburgh’s desirable Merchiston area, offering nursing, respite, palliative, and dementia care to up to 53 residents in a warm, purpose-built environment. Where every shift brings leadership, compassion, and a deeper sense of purpose.

As a Care Home Assistant Practitioner (CHAP), you’ll take on a leadership role at the heart of our care team. This is more than supporting with daily routines — you will guide others, promote best practice, and ensure every resident receives care rooted in dignity, respect, and individual needs.

What You Will Do

What We’re Looking For

  • SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
  • Experience working in a care setting (minimum one year preferred)
