As a Care Assistant, you’ll provide compassionate, person-centred support to our residents, helping them live with dignity, independence, and joy.Role: Care AssistantLocation: Parkfield House Nursing Home, Charville Lane West, Hillingdon, Uxbridge, UB10 0BYSalary: £12.81 – £13.27, depending on qualificationsHours: 44 hours per week, worked over 4 days from 8.00am to 8.00pm, working on a rota including weekends and public holidaysIn this rewarding role, you’ll work individually and as part of a supportive team to deliver the highest standards of care and companionship to our residents.What you’ll be doing:
- Â Checking on residents throughout the day and night to ensure their wellbeing and comfort
- Â Providing personal care with kindness and respect, supporting residents with daily activities while encouraging their independence
- Â Helping residents maintain their dignity and self-esteem through patient, compassionate care
- Â Contributing to care plans by working alongside residents and their families or representatives
- Â Supporting residents to take part in wellbeing and social activities both inside and outside the home
- Â Building positive, trusting relationships with residents, families, and your team
What you’ll bring:
- Â A professional, reliable, and flexible approach to your work
- Â Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Â A respectful, courteous, patient, and compassionate manner at all times
