Care Assistant

Care and Support – Hampton Care Home

Contract: Full Time, Part-Time, Bank conjunct

Salary: £12.81 – £13.27 per hour

Shift Types: Days & Nights Available

Contracted hours: 12 to 44 per week

At our home, you’ll be a key person responsible for helping us achieve an excellent standard of care for our residents. You’ll be an integral part of our care team, promoting the values and ethos of our home.

What You’ll Do

  • Empower Independence: Assist residents with daily routines, encouraging independence.
  • Personalised Care: Follow each resident’s personalised care plan.
  • Health and Wellbeing: Monitor health and communicate concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager; support communication with relatives or professionals.
  • Champion Dignity: Uphold dignity and respect for each resident.
  • Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and staff.
  • Safety and Comfort: Collaborate with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe environments; respond to emergencies.
  • Nutritional Support: Assist those needing extra help with eating and drinking.
  • Spread Smiles: Bring joy and make residents smile every day.

About You

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care preferred.
  • Experience: At least 6 months as a Care Assistant preferred, but passion for care accepted.
  • Passion: Genuinely interested in caring for the elderly.
  • Values: Integrity, respect, teamwork.
