Our care home has stunning views from both sides looking onto beautiful Kent countryside, and provides a cosy and homely feel for up to 64 residents. We provide Nursing, Residential, Dementia & Respite Care.

Domestic Assistant Contract

  • £12.71 per hour
  • Contracted to 30 hours per week
  • Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Domestic Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment that supports wellbeing, dignity and comfort. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail and high standards will have a direct impact on daily life. You will be responsible for cleaning residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. You will also support laundry services, helping to ensure personal belongings are handled with care and returned correctly. Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with required standards. Your role will contribute to a well-organised, respectful and comfortable environment for everyone.
