This is a rewarding opportunity for a clinically confident Registered Mental Health Nurse who is passionate about delivering compassionate, dignified and person centred care. You will play a key role in supporting residents at some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives, while working as part of a skilled and supportive nursing team.

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will deliver hands on clinical care with confidence, empathy and professionalism. You will be responsible for supporting residents with complex needs, including palliative and end of life care, ensuring comfort, dignity and safety at all times. You will lead shifts when required, support and guide care staff, and ensure clinical standards and care plans are consistently maintained. Working closely with families, GPs and external healthcare professionals, you will help ensure each resident receives personalised and holistic care that reflects their individual needs and wishes.

Cherrybrook Care Home is a modern 120 bed care home, split across two well supported units, providing high quality nursing care for residents with complex physical health needs. This includes end of life care, tracheostomy management and high dependency nursing support.

Responsibilities:
  • You will support residents with complex physical health needs, including tracheostomies, PEG feeding or palliative care.
  • You will be calm, compassionate and confident in your practice, with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to dignity, respect and high quality care.
  • You will work closely with families, GPs and external healthcare professionals to deliver personalised and holistic care.
  • You will lead shifts when required, support and guide care staff, and maintain clinical standards and care plans consistently.
Qualifications:
  • You will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC PIN and strong clinical skills.
  • Experience or a keen interest in supporting residents with complex physical health needs, including tracheostomies, PEG feeding or palliative care, is desirable.
  • You will be calm, compassionate and confident in your practice, with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to dignity, respect and high quality care.
