Cherrybrook Care Home is a specialist 120 bed care home providing complex mental health and dementia care within a structured and therapeutic environment. Organised across two dedicated units, the service supports adults living with complex mental health conditions, dementia and behaviours that challenge, delivering clinically led care focused on dignity, stability and wellbeing.

The Role

As Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN), you will support the Home Manager in leading the clinical team and ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered across the home. You will play a key role in overseeing clinical practice and supporting residents living with complex mental health conditions, dementia and behaviours that challenge. Working within a structured and therapeutic care environment, you will ensure care is delivered safely, consistently and in line with best clinical practice. You will lead clinical assessments, support the development and review of person‑centred care plans and monitor residents’ physical and mental health needs. You will ensure safe medication management, accurate clinical documentation and appropriate responses to changes in residents’ wellbeing. Working closely with nurses, care staff and external professionals, you will support multidisciplinary care planning and help ensure the service maintains a safe, stable and supportive environment for residents. You will also mentor and guide the clinical team, helping to develop staff skills and maintain high standards of care and professional practice.

What We Are Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with active NMC PIN
  • Experience supporting adults with complex mental health needs, dementia or behaviours that challenge
  • Previous leadership or senior nursing experience within a care home or clinical setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills
  • Ability to lead and support multidisciplinary teams
  • A compassionate and person‑centred approach to care
