At Cherrybrook Care Home, we understand that language is more than communication, it is comfort, dignity, and connection. We support an elderly resident who speaks only Urdu, and we are looking for a compassionate, experienced Care Assistant who is fluent in Urdu to help them feel understood, safe, and truly at home. This is a full-time role within our care team, providing essential, person-centred care.

What Your Day Will Look Like
- Support residents with personal care, meals, and daily routines
- Promote dignity, independence, and choice
- Use your Urdu language skills to build trust, provide reassurance, and support emotional wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality care
- Be a calm, reassuring presence, whether assisting with morning routines or sharing a quiet conversation over tea
Your language skills will play a vital role in helping a resident feel safe, heard, and respected.
About You
- Has Level 2 Health & Social Care, Care Certificate, or 6–12 months’ experience in a care setting
- Is fluent in spoken Urdu
- Is calm, patient, and compassionate
- Has experience or confidence in supporting elderly residents
- Is reliable, consistent, and works well as part of a team
