We are now looking for an Activities Coordinator who lives and breathes creativity, someone who can bring colour, laughter and variety to everyday life and understands that wellbeing isn’t just about physical health, but emotional connection, confidence and purpose too. Our five core values guide everything we do: Trust | Respect | Passion | Kindness | Inclusivity.
What you’ll be doing:
- Become the heart of the home’s daily life. Whether you’re organising a music session that sparks a memory, creating a themed afternoon tea party, or simply chatting with someone about their favourite hobbies, you’ll be helping residents feel engaged, valued and seen.
- Design and deliver a monthly activities programme that suits all abilities from quiet one‑to‑one moments to vibrant group sessions, always taking time to understand what brings joy to each individual.
- Work closely with the care team to ensure everything is safe, inclusive and deeply person‑centred.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver group activities for older people, drawing on experience in music, art therapy or event planning.
- Create a programme that is inclusive, safe and tailored to the needs and preferences of each resident.
- Collaborate with the care team to support residents with dementia and complex behaviours.
Qualifications:
- Experience with group activities for older people is essential.
- Background in event planning, music, art therapy or related fields is a real bonus.
- Natural ability to connect with others, organised, creative, confident and the energy to fill a room with warmth.
- Have run community events, delivered group sessions or have experience in music or art therapy – whatever your background, if you can inspire laughter, build relationships and make every day count, we’d love to hear from you.
