Luso Court Care Centre is a newly commissioned specialist care home in Clapham, London supporting adults with complex nursing needs, dementia and mental health conditions. The home offers 80 en suite bedrooms across two floors and provides complex nursing care, specialist dementia care and residential mental health support within a safe and clinically led environment.
The Role
As Activities Lead, you will play a key role in creating meaningful and engaging experiences for residents living with complex physical health needs, dementia and mental health conditions. You will design and deliver a varied programme of activities that promotes wellbeing, independence and social connection. Working closely with the Home Manager and care team, you will organise individual and group activities tailored to residents’ abilities, interests and care needs. Your role will help support emotional wellbeing, encourage positive engagement and create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere within the home. You will plan and coordinate activities such as creative sessions, social events, wellbeing activities and community engagement opportunities, ensuring residents feel involved and valued. You will also maintain accurate records of activities and participation, ensuring programmes remain meaningful and person centred. As part of a newly commissioned specialist service, you will help establish engaging routines and contribute to creating a positive and supportive environment where residents can live fulfilling lives.

- Previous experience organising activities within a care home or similar setting is desirable
