Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home is a well established service in Weston-super-Mare, located close to the seafront and set within a characterful Victorian townhouse. Supporting up to 43 residents, the home provides high quality nursing, respite and palliative care within a calm, welcoming and team focused environment where staff can build meaningful relationships and make a genuine difference every day.
Chef Contract
- £12.71 per hour
- Bank contract, zero hours
- Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As a Chef, you will deliver high quality, nutritious and enjoyable meals within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs. Your role plays an important part in daily life, providing comfort, routine and enjoyment while supporting overall wellbeing. You will take ownership of food preparation and service, ensuring meals are tailored to individual dietary needs, preferences and nutritional requirements, including modified diets where required. Maintaining high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety, you will consistently deliver meals that meet both nutritional and clinical needs. Working as part of a supportive team, you will contribute to menu planning, kitchen organisation and smooth day to day service, ensuring a safe, efficient and well organised kitchen environment at all times.
What We Are Looking For
- City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent, or working towards
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Understanding of dietary requirements, including modified or specialist diets, is beneficial
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive and reliable approach
