Job Description
Raemoir Manor Care Home is a brand new, purpose built care home in Banchory, opening in Summer 2026.
The home will provide residential, dementia, nursing and respite care within a modern, well designed environment, offering a unique opportunity to join a new team and help shape the service from the outset.
Senior Care Assistant Contract £14.50 per hour Contracted to full time & part time hours per week Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)Role Overview Joining a brand new care home from the very beginning offers a genuinely exciting opportunity to help shape the standards, culture and day to day care environment as the service develops.
As part of the team from the outset, you will play an important role in supporting colleagues, building positive working relationships and helping create a warm, welcoming and well organised home for residents and families.
As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.
You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard.
Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.
You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
