Raemoir Manor Care Home is a brand new, purpose built care home in Banchory, opening in Summer 2026. The home will provide residential, dementia, nursing and respite care within a modern, well designed environment, offering a unique opportunity to join a new team and help shape the service from the outset.

Contract: £25.00 per hour

Contracted to 44 hours per week - A combination of supernumerary shifts and on-the-floor shifts, working every 2nd weekend initially.

Role Overview

As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the leadership and performance of the home, working in close partnership with the Home Manager to drive clinical excellence, regulatory compliance and high quality care delivery. This is a senior leadership position where you will take responsibility for the clinical oversight of the service and ensure standards are consistently achieved and sustained.

You will lead on all aspects of clinical governance, care planning, medication management and risk, ensuring care is safe, effective and person centred. You will monitor performance, carry out audits, support inspections and take ownership of continuous improvement, ensuring the home operates in line with regulatory and organisational standards.

You will provide visible, hands on leadership to the nursing and care teams, supporting, mentoring and developing staff to deliver high quality outcomes. Acting as Deputy to the Home Manager, you will confidently oversee the service in their absence, manage day to day operations and make informed decisions that support both residents and staff.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience within a care setting
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Experience in clinical governance, audits and compliance
  • Ability to support, mentor and develop staff
  • Confident decision making and problem solving skills
  • A compassionate, professional and resident focused approach
