– La Fontana Care Home Contract: Full Time Salary: £13.50 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 37.5 La Fontana Dementia Nursing Home is nestled on the outskirts of Martock, surrounded by the stunning Somerset countryside.

This purpose-built, modern home provides specialist Dementia and Nursing care for up to 76 residents.

We are looking for someone with creativity, energy, and a genuine passion for making every day meaningful for our residents.

As Activities Lead, you will be the driving force behind our activities programme, bringing ideas to life that inspire connection, laughter, and purpose.

This is a role where your imagination and compassion will have a direct and lasting impact on the people who live in our home.

What We Offer £13.50 per hour Contracted to 37.5 hours per week Pension scheme Onsite parking Paid DBS Uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract) What You Will Do You will work closely with the Home Manager to design and deliver a monthly programme of group and one-to-one activities that reflect our residents’ individual needs, preferences, and abilities.

You will encourage residents to maintain favourite hobbies, discover new interests, and enjoy opportunities for social connection.

You will promote both physical and mental wellbeing through a varied schedule, from creative arts to gentle exercise and community outings.

You will also keep accurate records of planned and completed activities to ensure our programme meets personal and regulatory standards.

Every day, you will bring your enthusiasm and creativity to the role, ensuring life in our home is stimulating, inclusive, and full of moments to look forward to.

You have experience planning and delivering a variety of activities or events, with the creativity to keep them fresh and engaging.

You are a natural communicator who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
