Located in the heart of Bathgate, Meadowvale Care Home is a purpose‑built service offering high‑quality Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 52 residents. We are proud to create a warm and welcoming environment where residents are truly at the heart of everything we do.
We are now looking for a friendly, imaginative, and well‑organised Activities Coordinator to bring fun, purpose, and social connection to our residents’ lives. What We Offer

What You Will Do
As our Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enriching life at Meadowvale. You will create engaging monthly programmes as well as tailored one‑to‑one activities that reflect residents’ interests, abilities, and individual care needs. From music and movement to arts, quizzes, crafts and themed events, you’ll offer variety and fun to promote wellbeing and connection.
You’ll take time to build relationships with residents, understand their personal stories, and help them continue doing what they love — whether that’s gardening, painting, singing or simply having a chat over a cuppa. You will also work closely with care staff to ensure all activities are inclusive, meaningful and adapted to individual needs, including those living with dementia.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience planning or delivering activities or events in a community, care, or hospitality setting
- A warm, creative, and outgoing personality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for making a difference to older people’s lives
- Previous experience in a care home setting is welcome but not essential
