Windyhall Care Home is a luxurious Victorian residence located in the heart of Ayr, offering elegant surroundings and a warm, homely atmosphere. We provide care and accommodation for up to 29 residents, with a strong focus on comfort, dignity, and personalised support. Caring for our residents is at the heart of our business but looking after someone’s wellbeing in their next chapter of life goes much further than watching TV and a game of Bingo! Driven by our team of Activities Coordinators, you are the difference to ensuring that our residents’ days are filled with fun, variety, and stimulation.
Being able to build a rapport with our residents and getting to know their preferences is key to being able to make this role a success, as well as being inclusive of their individual preferences and care needs which range from low‑level support through to dementia and nursing.

What You’ll Do
Plan and Organise: Create and manage monthly rolling programmes as well as individual activities, encouraging residents to stay active and maintain their hobbies.
Foster Social Connections: Help residents socialise and enjoy their time in the care home through diverse activities that cater to all preferences.
Meal Times: Assist at meal times
Keep Accurate Records: Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities.
