Crosslaw House Care Home is located in Lanark. We provide high-quality nursing and dementia care for up to 45 residents in a warm, supportive environment.

What You Will Do

As Activities Coordinator, you will lead the planning and delivery of engaging activity programmes that promote wellbeing, independence, and happiness for residents. You will organize and run group and individual activities, encourage social interaction, and create opportunities for residents to maintain their interests or try something new. Activities may include music, arts, themed events, community partnerships, and sensory sessions. You will maintain accurate records of participation and ensure activities meet residents’ diverse care needs.

What We’re Looking For

  • A friendly, confident, and creative personality who enjoys building strong relationships with older people
  • Proven experience in planning or delivering activities, events, or recreational programmes
  • A genuine passion for enriching lives and promoting independence
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the wider care team
  • Experience in a care home setting is welcomed but not essential
