Raemoir Manor Care Home is a brand new, purpose built care home in Banchory, opening in Summer 2026. The home will provide residential, dementia, nursing and respite care within a modern, well designed environment, offering a unique opportunity to join a new team and help shape the service from the outset.

Contract: 15.50 per hour, contracted to 40 hours per week, working over 7 days. Paid (PVG/DBS), pension, uniform provided, 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract).

Role Overview: Joining a brand new care home from the very beginning offers a genuinely exciting opportunity to help shape the environment, standards and day to day organisation of the service as it develops. Working alongside a completely new team, you will play an important role in creating a clean, welcoming and well presented home where residents, relatives and colleagues feel comfortable and supported from day one. As Head Housekeeper, you will take overall responsibility for the cleanliness, presentation and organisation of the home, ensuring a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment is maintained at all times. This is a key leadership role where your standards and attention to detail will directly impact daily life and overall experience. You will lead and manage the housekeeping team, overseeing the cleaning of residents' rooms, bathrooms and all communal areas to ensure consistently high standards of hygiene and presentation. You will coordinate daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in line with infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures. Working closely with other departments, you will ensure a well organised and responsive service. You will monitor quality, manage supplies and support your team through training, guidance and leadership, creating a positive and high performing environment.
