Dee View Court Neurological Care Centre is a specialist neurological service in Aberdeen, providing expert neurorehabilitation and long term care for 44 residents with complex needs. The home offers a clinically led yet homely environment, where a skilled multidisciplinary team supports individuals with brain injuries and neurological conditions to maximise independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the kitchen team within a specialist complex care setting, assisting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs. You will:

  • Assist with food preparation
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Ensure food safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Help prepare meals that meet individual dietary needs, including modified or specialist diets where required
  • Support with deliveries, storage and kitchen organisation
  • Contribute to the smooth day to day running of the kitchen while supporting a positive dining experience for residents

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen or food preparation role is desirable but not essential
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene and food safety practices
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment
