Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home is a well established service in Weston-super-Mare, located close to the seafront and set within a characterful Victorian townhouse. Supporting up to 43 residents, the home provides high quality nursing, respite and palliative care within a calm, welcoming and team focused environment where staff can build meaningful relationships and make a genuine difference every day.Kitchen Assistant Contract £12.71 per hourBank contract, zero hoursPaid DBS, pension, uniform provided5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)Role OverviewAs a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the kitchen team within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs.You will assist with food preparation, maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure food safety procedures are followed at all times. Working as part of the team, you will help prepare meals that meet individual dietary needs, including modified or specialist diets where required.You will also support with deliveries, storage and kitchen organisation, ensuring all areas are clean, safe and well maintained.
