At Hesketh Park Lodge, we know that great care starts with great leadership. Our modern, purpose-built 79 bed care home in the heart of Southport provides residential, nursing, dementia and respite care, supporting residents to live well, feel safe, and remain truly valued as individuals.
As we prepare for our next CQC inspection, we are seeking a strong, visible and clinically confident Deputy Manager to work alongside the Home Manager and lead our clinical team with clarity, compassion and confidence. This is a role for a handsâon clinical leader someone who thrives on improving standards, supporting teams, and ensuring residents receive care that is not only safe and compliant, but genuinely personâcentred and meaningful.
About the Role
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the dayâtoâday life of the home. You will lead by example on the floor, drive clinical excellence, and support the Home Manager in embedding best practice across nursing, dementia and residential care. You will be instrumental in:
- Strengthening clinical governance and care delivery.
- Supporting the team through coaching, development and leadership.
- Ensuring residents and families feel confident, listened to and supported.
- Helping prepare the home for inspection and continuous improvement.
- Stepping into the Home Manager role when required.
This is a varied, rewarding position where no two days are the same and where your leadership will be felt by residents, relatives and colleagues alike.
