Currently home to 29 residents, the service is now moving into a specialist dementia model, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced Home Manager to lead this next chapter.
About the role
As Home Manager, you will have full operational and commercial responsibility for the home. Your focus will be on driving quality improvement to achieve a Good rating at the first CQC inspection while growing occupancy to sustainable levels. You will lead staffing and rota management in line with dependency and HPRPW, build strong relationships with families, professionals, and the local community, and work closely with the Regional Director, CRM, and Quality Team to deliver a clear plan for service growth and compliance.
About you
The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of Home Manager experience, ideally within nursing dementia or complex care. You will have a strong track record of growing occupancy, managing budgets, and delivering key performance indicators. Compliance and quality are essential, and you will have no record of RI or Inadequate ratings. A hands-on, visible leadership style is vital, one that inspires teams, drives improvement, and fosters a culture of excellence. An RMN qualification is preferred, though RGN or exceptional non-nurse candidates will be considered, and a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification is required.
