Struan Lodge is a friendly, purpose-built care home offering exceptional Nursing, Dementia, and Palliative care for up to 30 residents. We are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef to join our team — someone who enjoys cooking wholesome food, loves making people smile, and wants a role with flexibility that fits around other commitments.
Whether you are already experienced in care home kitchens or looking for something more meaningful, this flexible position offers the perfect opportunity to use your skills in a welcoming, supportive setting where your work genuinely matters.
What We Offer
- £14.04 per hour
- Contracted to 33 hours per week
- Paid breaks, Paid PVG, Pension scheme

What You Will Do
As Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering meals that are not only nutritious and well-balanced, but comforting and full of flavour. Working alongside the Head Chef, you will help plan and prepare delicious menus using fresh ingredients, while making sure each resident's dietary needs are met. You will take pride in maintaining a clean, organised kitchen and follow food hygiene and safety standards at all times. Your creativity and attention to detail will shine through every meal, turning food into something our residents look forward to every day.
