Thornfield Care Home is situated on the outskirts of the lovely seaside town of Seaton which is located on the world-famous Jurassic Coast.

Thornfield Care Home is registered for 52 residents.

Activities Lead Contract £13.71 per hour Contracted to 40 hours per week Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As Activities Lead, you will take responsibility for developing and delivering a high quality, engaging and person centred activities programme.

The role plays a key part in enhancing wellbeing, promoting independence and creating a positive, stimulating environment.

You will plan and lead both group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs, including those living with dementia.

Building strong relationships will enable you to deliver meaningful and inclusive activities that encourage participation and social interaction.

Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will ensure activities are well organised, consistent and aligned with individual care plans.

You will also maintain accurate records and continuously review and improve the programme to ensure it remains engaging and effective.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
