This luxurious, private care facility is situated in the affluent suburb of Glasgow. The care home offers elegant accommodation for up to 80 residents along with outstanding Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care.
We are now looking for a compassionate and confident Senior Care Assistant to join our team and play a vital role in supporting both our residents and our care team.

Your Role: Making a Difference Every Day
As Senior Care Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of what we do ensuring high standards of care, supporting your colleagues, and bringing positivity and purpose to each shift.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and coordinate shifts, acting as a role model to your team and ensuring residents receive the best possible care
- Support residents with personal care needs such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility while always respecting their dignity and independence
- Administer and manage medication, keeping accurate records and following safety protocols
- Write and update care plans, ensuring they reflect residents’ evolving needs and preferences
- Promote a supportive team culture, fostering open communication, collaboration, and inclusivity
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and your colleagues
- Respond to emergency call bells, assess situations swiftly and calmly, and take appropriate action
- Welcome visitors and offer tours to prospective residents and their families
- Uphold high standards of health, safety, and infection control, ensuring compliance with relevant policies
What We’re Looking For:
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or actively working towards it)
- Medication administration training with practical competencies
- Leadership skills someone who can inspire others and lead with confidence, empathy, and accountability
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- A naturally kind, caring, and compassionate nature with a sense of fun and a commitment to person-centred care
