Our purpose-built care home in Bathgate, West Lothian, offers the highest standards of care for 52 residents, including Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care. Meadowvale Care Home is a welcoming, purpose-built home that provides exceptional Residential, Nursing, Respite, and Dementia care for up to 60 residents. Every detail of our home reflects our commitment to dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
We are now looking for a Care Assistant to join our compassionate team. Whether you are experienced in care or new to the sector, if you are kind, reliable, and passionate about helping others, we would love to hear from you.
What We Offer- £12.70 per hour
- Contracted to 25 hours per week
- Part-time and twilight hours available
- Paid PVG, pension scheme, free uniform, and onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents with their daily routines, promoting independence, and helping to create a homely, positive environment. You will provide hands-on personal care with dignity and respect, assist with mobility, nutrition, and medication prompts, and work closely with the nursing team and families to ensure every resident feels supported, safe, and valued.
What We’re Looking For- SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards) preferred
- Previous care experience is welcome but not essential as we provide full training
- A caring, compassionate, and respectful approach
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
