Care Computers are a leading Microsoft Partner based in Windsor providing IT consultancy, support, professional services, and solutions to SMB/SME clients in the Thames Valley area since 1993. With a well‑established presence in our sector, we are looking for a Sales Team Leader to help manage our sales team and processes to ensure our existing client base is well looked after and to drive continued growth.
The Sales Team Leader role is responsible for managing the entire sales lifecycle, which includes prospecting and qualifying new sales opportunities, working with the sales team to propose and close managed service contracts, and the sale of services and products. The Sales Team Leader is also responsible for managing the daily activities of the sales team and ensuring the Technical department are aware of sales potentials and liaising to ensure all resources are available to assist the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a sales strategy, and drive results from that strategy that meets company goals.
- Build a solid sales team that exceeds sales goals.
- Monitor the Sales Team productivity and motivate them to reach monthly goals.
- Conduct weekly sales meetings to ensure sales activities and opportunities are within compliance of company policies and procedures through review of the sales dashboard.
- Provide guidance to the sales team so that sales goals are met.
- Establish and manage sales quotas by reviewing sales opportunity history and forecasts.
- Establish and manage commission rates for the sales team and report commission earnings to accounting for payroll distribution.
- Weekly reviews of the sales funnel; ensure the sales pipeline remains full of qualified leads and prospects.
- Report sales data to the management team including activity, opportunity statistics, quotas, pipeline, forecasts, referrals, and commission.
- Work with the Marketing team to ensure promotions are readily available.
- Work with all department management to determine price schedules and discount rates, communicate this effectively with the sales team.
- Assist the Sales Team with daily activities as needed.
- Ensure consistency of existing systems through creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards and procedures for daily activities.
- Develop training programs to develop and refine the skills of the sales team.
- Develop in‑depth knowledge of the service catalogue and how it relates to customer’s needs.
- Review publications and online materials to remain up to date with current and future trends emerging in the industry.
- Conduct performance evaluations and mentor those with less experience.
- Understand processes in Halo PSA by completing assigned training. Enter all work as activities or service tickets in Halo PSA.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of the sales lifecycle with a strong understanding of customer sales dynamics and requirements.
- Thorough understanding of how customers in the small to medium business market operate.
- Demonstrated level of success in the development of client relationships.
- Enjoy working with customers and external audiences with a high energy, coupled with good negotiation skills.
- Proficient with general office applications with strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Skill in preparing written communications and materials.
- Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer care.
- Ability to multi‑task and adapt to changes quickly with skills to ensure quick and accurate decisions.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work in a fast‑moving environment.
- Minimum of 3 years’ business and management experience.
- Diligent and strategic with good administration and communication skills.
- Able to work on own initiative, manage a small team, with good listening skills. Effective and efficient manner.
