We are recruiting for a Support Worker to join the support team of a young man with a brain injury living with his family in the Dewsbury area.

Hours: 20 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £13.46 per hour weekdays / £14.49 per hour weekends

Shifts: 2 x 10 hour shifts per week 8.00am - 6.00pm on a rota basis, including every other Saturday.

Who we are: We offer a bespoke Case Management Service for people of all ages, with a particular emphasis on those recovering from acquired brain injuries.

The Support Worker Role: Support and contribute towards the planning and delivery of individual care, supporting in all aspects of daily living, as our client has physical, sensory & cognitive disabilities and is wheelchair dependent. This position will come with a degree of flexible working to support the pursuit of interests in live music, extra shifts and the cover of staff sickness and annual leave. Work with a treatment team of therapists (SALT, Physiotherapist & Occupational Therapist) to complete therapy programmes, motivate & engage the client in recreational & educational activities. Experience in delivering therapy programmes is desirable but full training will be provided.
