Complex Care Assistant: Role & Responsibilities
Join as a Complex Care Assistant and develop your skills with full training and clinical support in tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, catheter care, moving and handling equipment, and medication administration. In this role, you’ll provide overnight support to a child with complex care needs, focusing on monitoring the tracheostomy, suctioning, managing PEG feeds, and administering medication. Another local paediatric package may be available in the Brighton area with similar clinical requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in PEG feeding
- Medication Administration
- The only essential requirement for this position is previous experience in caring for service users with tracheostomies.
